Great Mark Western | Sires & Donors
Built on Proven Genetics
Our donor cow program began with the respected 1912 cow family, built on proven Angus genetics from Riley Brothers. Since then, we’ve expanded our donor pen to include elite cow families from some of the Brangus breed’s most influential programs.
We focus on moderately framed, sound footed, deep bodied cows with consistent fertility and longevity. To qualify to be a donor, a cow first must calve on a strict 365-day schedule and demonstrate her ability to perform in real world, pasture based systems.
On the sire side, we’ve invested in top tier Angus, Brangus and UltraBlack bulls known for strong maternal lines, curve-bending EPDs, and exceptional carcass traits. Each bull is selected to produce both high-value terminal calves and dependable replacement females.
We’re not interested in chasing fads or genetic extremes. We aim to breed balanced, functional cattle that perform where it counts—on your operation.
